چکیده

A wideband differential bandpass filter (BPF) with differential mode passband and common mode suppression is proposed and implemented on microstrip lines for wideband application in this letter. The initial BPF is similar to a single ring resonator with two unequal feed lines which have 180◦ separation and T-shaped stubs are loaded on the ring resonator to form an improved one for better performances. The lengths and widths of these stubs can be adjusted to produce a highly selectivity under the differential mode and improved attenuation under the common mode. This simple, compact structure is easy for construct without any coupling structure. Finally, a microstrip differential wideband BPF is designed, simulated, fabricated, and measured. The presented differential BPF has a 3dB fractional bandwidth (FBW) of 38% for the differential mode and insertion loss greater than 17 dB for common mode. Good agreement between simulated and measured results is obtained.

A Compact UWB Bandpass Filter with High Selectivity and Dual Notched-Band

A novel compact-sized ultra-wideband (UWB) bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed in this paper. The proposed BPF is highly selective and is able to eliminate WLAN signals from 5.15-5.35 GHz, and downlink of X-band satellite communication signals from 7.25-7.75 GHz. Generally, a multiple-mode resonator (MMR), comprised of a U-shaped line, with two high impedance stubs connected to it, and one steppe...

Microstrip Wideband Bandpass Filter Based on Square Ring Loaded Resonator

Abstract—In this paper, a compact microstrip wideband bandpass filter (BPF) based on square ring loaded resonator (SRLR) is proposed. The SRLR is formed by loading a pair of bent open-stubs outside the diagonal corners of a square ring, which generates three split degenerated modes. The first two split modes form a dominant wideband passband. By introducing another pair of loaded open-stubs, th...

A Compact Ultra-Wideband Filter Based on Left Handed Transmission Line by Using Complementary Split Ring Resonators and Series Capacitor

A compact and sharp rejection UWB microstrip bandpass filter is developed using left handed metamaterials. For realizing a backward-wave propagation medium, two split ring resonator (CSRR) in the back substrate side and also one series capacitor etched in the host line, are used to produce a negative effective ε and μ, simultaneously. Moreover, in the proposed structure, two doublets parallel c...

A Compact Wide Bandpass Filter based on Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Structure

In this pare, a wideband three-order bandpass filter (BPF) is proposed. The proposed wideband filter is designed using the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) structure by loading T-shape slots. A BPF with two resonators is formed by etching T-shape slots with different size on the top metal plane of the SIW structure. The filter is investigated with the theory of coupled resonator circuits. T...
